This is a 17 page fancomic depicting the chasm scenes in Words of Radiance. I got sick and had this crazy desire to paint this entire thing in about a week. Which is crazy. These scenes are ones that I really enjoyed in the book and they finally brought these two characters together that were not on good terms to begin with. (Shallan, why’d you have to steal his boots?)
This comic was unique in that I had never done a comic in this style before – where it was mostly black and white with no inked lineart! It’s true, I use Stormlight fanart stuff as a way to experiment and try new things.
